All About Laser & Light Treatments

We use laser and light treatments when they are the right tool for the right indication. Each device has a different purpose — resurfacing, collagen remodeling, tightening, pigmentation control, hair reduction or targeted vitiligo therapy.

What makes us different
  • Indication-based laser selection
  • Dermatologist planning & safety protocols
  • Combination approach when needed
  • Ethical, realistic expectations

Laser ≠ One Treatment

“Laser” is a category. Different technologies treat different problems. We match the device to your diagnosis and skin type.

Safety + Parameters Matter

Outcomes depend on correct settings, technique and post-care. We use structured protocols and counsel you for realistic expectations.

Our Laser & Light Technologies

ResurFX (Lumenis) – Non-ablative Resurfacing

Used for (selected cases): acne scar texture improvement, open pores, fine lines, uneven texture and mild photoaging.

Why it’s chosen: controlled resurfacing with structured protocols, often combined with other modalities for better results.

Vivace MNRF – Microneedling Radiofrequency

Used for (selected cases): acne scars (box/rolling), collagen remodeling, pores, skin tightening, superficial & deeper lines.

Where it fits: when collagen remodeling and tightening are needed, often in combination plans.

Related: Anti-AgingAcne Scars

Endolift (1470nm + 980nm) – Collagen Boost + Tightening + Lipolysis

Endolift is used in selected cases for:

  • Anti-aging / sagging face: collagen stimulation + tightening
  • Double chin / facial lipolysis: reduction of localized fat (case-dependent)
  • Open pores / skin texture: supportive tightening and collagen remodeling
  • Puffy eye bags: selected cases where suitable assessment supports it
  • Hypertrophic scars: supportive remodeling in selected patterns
  • Acne scars: selected cases as part of a combined plan
  • Keloids: used only in selected cases as part of a comprehensive protocol (evaluation essential)

Key point: Endolift is not a “one-session miracle” — it is chosen when tightening/laxity or fat component is a major contributor.

Helios III – Laser Platform (Indication-Based)

Helios III is used depending on indication and clinical suitability.

Used for (selected cases): lesion-based dermatologic needs and supportive protocols where appropriate.

Exact selection and settings are based on diagnosis and skin type.

BTL IPL – Photofacials & Photoaging

Used for (selected cases): photoaging, brown spots, uneven tone, mild redness, and skin rejuvenation protocols.

Where it fits: when light-based pigment and tone correction is required as part of an overall plan.

Related: Anti-Aging

Hair Removal Laser – Reduction of Unwanted Hair

Used for (selected cases): long-term hair reduction on face/body, ingrown hair reduction and smoother skin.

Important: number of sessions varies by area, hair thickness, hormones and skin type.

We counsel realistic expectations and safe settings for Indian skin.

LLLT (Low Level Laser Therapy) – Hair Support

Used as add-on (selected cases): supportive therapy in hair loss programs to improve scalp micro-environment.

Excimer Laser – Targeted Vitiligo Therapy

Used for (selected cases): localized vitiligo patches. It targets the patch area and may be combined with medical therapy.

Key point: case selection matters; stability and pattern decide the plan.

How We Decide the Right Laser

Step 1: Diagnosis & Skin Type

We confirm your diagnosis and evaluate skin type. This helps reduce risks like pigmentation and improves safety.

Step 2: Indication-Based Device Selection

We select the device based on the main problem: scars/texture, tightening, pigmentation, hair reduction or vitiligo patch treatment.

Step 3: Combination Planning (When Needed)

Many conditions need combination plans (e.g., acne scars + pores + pigmentation). We sequence treatments for safety and better outcomes.

Step 4: Aftercare & Follow-up

Post-care (sun protection, skincare, downtime guidance) is essential for safe healing and consistent results.

Laser FAQs

Which laser is best for my skin problem?

There is no single best laser. We select laser/light treatment based on diagnosis, skin type, indication and safety, and may combine with medical care for better outcomes.

Is laser safe for Indian skin?

Yes, when planned correctly. Proper diagnosis, correct parameters and post-care guidance reduce risks like pigmentation or irritation.

What is the downtime after ResurFX or MNRF?

Downtime varies by settings and indication. Many patients have mild redness for a short period; deeper treatments may need more recovery. We explain expected downtime before treatment.

Do you use excimer for vitiligo?

Yes, excimer is used for selected localized vitiligo patches and may be combined with medical therapy as per case selection.

Refer a Patient – Laser & Light Treatments

When to refer: post-acne scars/texture issues, photoaging, pigmentation and tone correction, tightening needs (selected Endolift/MNRF), resistant localized vitiligo for excimer planning, and patients needing ethical device selection.
